Thermography Category 1 Certification Course
September 21st - 25th
STARTING SEPTEMBER 21st
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THIS COURSE?
The science behind thermal imaging, heat transfer principles, the electromagnetic spectrum and atmospheric attenuation
Mechanical, electrical and building survey basics, and how thermography applies to each
How to set up, calibrate and operate a thermal camera, including Range, Level & Span (R.A.T.) settings
How to capture a genuinely "good" thermal image and process it for accurate analysis
How to spot and avoid common errors, from emissivity variations to tricky operational conditions
How to write clear, professional thermal imaging reports
Who Should Attend?
WHY ATTEND THIS COURSE?
Choice of qualification
Choose between Volatus Certification, or ask us about our BINDT PCN Accreditation, an internationally recognised standard for professional thermographers.
Taught by working surveyors
We are an active surveying team, so you learn techniques and insight drawn from real jobs, not just theory.
A springboard to aerial work
The skills learned here transfer directly into aerial thermography, opening up an extra service line.
Genuinely hands-on
Practical exercises with thermal cameras, so you leave confident using the kit, not just reading about it.
A head start on accreditation
Course completion counts toward 192 hours of logged experience required by certification awarding bodies.
