Building Drone and Counter-UAS Capability for Military and Public Safety Agencies
What We Do
We develop and deliver capability programs that support both the establishment of new drone and counter-UAS operations and the advancement of existing ones. Our approach ensures training is aligned to real-world mission requirements and operational objectives.
How Capability Is Built
Our programs integrate training, program design, and operational planning to develop personnel, processes, and decision-making frameworks together. Through scenario-based delivery, teams build practical skills and operational confidence for real-world environments.
Outcome
Organizations achieve mission-ready capability through trained personnel, defined operational workflows, and improved coordination. This enables confident, informed decision-making and effective response in complex and high-risk environments.

Whether establishing a new capability or advancing an existing program, we work with defence organizations, public safety agencies, and emergency management partners to design and deliver tailored solutions aligned to their operational objectives.
OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY AREAS

Who can take Volatus Academy National Security and Defence training programs?
Our training is designed specifically for military, public safety, government, and security organizations, as well as Veterans. Some courses are also available to qualified individuals seeking advanced operational skills.
Do I need prior drone or field operations experience?
No. Our courses are designed to support participants at all levels of experience. Volatus Academy offers progressive “zero-to-hero” training pathways that guide learners from foundational knowledge through to mission-ready proficiency.
That said, some courses are more advanced than others. We recommend that participants begin with training aligned to their current experience level and follow the suggested prerequisites to ensure the best learning outcomes.

Do you provide customized training programs?
Yes. We frequently work with agencies and organizations to align their specific operational requirements, capability development, or technology integration with our capabilities.
Can Volatus Academy help our agency build or expand a drone or counter-UAS program?
Yes. Volatus Academy supports organizations at every stage of developing or expanding UAS and counter-UAS capabilities. Our programs are designed to help agencies build the knowledge, skills, and operational frameworks required to safely and effectively integrate drone technologies into their missions.
Training pathways range from executive and policy-level education for decision-makers, through operational planning and program development, to hands-on operator training and advanced practitioner programs for personnel responsible for monitoring and responding to drone activity.
Training is integrated with Volatus' SKYDRA C-UAS simulator, enabling students to evaluate detection technologies, test response workflows, and assess operational readiness in realistic scenarios alongside their training.
Volatus Academy can work with agencies to support:
-Training and certification for counter-UAS personnel
-Program design and operational planning-Technology evaluation and system integration
-Development of incident response procedures and operational workflows
Organizations seeking to establish or enhance their drone or counter-UAS capabilities are encouraged to contact us to discuss their operational requirements.
